With over 50 years of combined experience, my father, Dave and I lead Absolute Craftsmen Ltd, a premier custom home builder in Southern Georgian Bay.

Christine Harrington joined Absolute Craftsmen in 2009 as a summer job between semesters at the University of Guelph. It didn’t take long for her to realize that her true passion lay in working alongside her father, Dave, to build custom homes. Since then, Christine has made it her mission to ensure each home-building experience is as exciting and life-changing for her clients as it has been for her.
Christine understands that building a custom home is a significant milestone, and her dedication to client satisfaction is evident from the very first meeting. On-site daily, she works closely with trades to ensure quality and efficiency, always paying attention to the smallest details to incorporate the unique elements that bring each client’s dream home to life. She believes in frequent communication throughout the design-build process, ensuring her clients’ expectations around timelines, quality, and budgets are clear and met.
Committed to staying ahead of the curve, Christine actively pursues new knowledge in construction technology and green building practices that enhance energy efficiency and create healthy, sustainable living environments for families to enjoy for years to come.
When she’s not building, Christine enjoys spending time skiing at Blue Mountain, swimming in Georgian Bay, and making memories with her husband, Spencer, and their two sons, Harri and Jack.

With 45 years of experience in the construction industry, Dave Harrington has built a legacy of excellence through his leadership and hands-on expertise at Absolute Craftsmen Ltd. Based in Blue Mountain and serving the surrounding areas, Dave has successfully managed 75+ custom home projects, earning a reputation as one of the areas most established home builders.
Starting his career as a carpenter, Dave honed his skills in everything from framing and siding to hand carved millwork projects, eventually specializing in finishing carpentry in Toronto. In 1987, he and his wife Carol made the move to Blue Mountain, where he shifted focus to custom home building. Dave always takes time to teach a new technique or skill to share his mastered craft of carpentry and woodworking. His dedication, experience, and pragmatic approach have consistently added tangible value to every project as any past client will tell you!
When Dave isn’t building, he enjoys staying active outdoors, whether skiing at Blue Mountain, kite surfing and boating on Georgian Bay, or biking the scenic Georgian Trail with Carol. He cherishes spending time with his three daughters—Sheena, Christine, and Karley— and his eight grandchildren, all of whom live in Collingwood with their families. Whether hosting casual weeknight dinners or holiday gatherings at their home on Georgian Bay, Dave loves bringing everyone together.
